Wedding photographer in pittsburgh
I studied law in Venezuela, and somewhere between a courthouse that drained me and a brand new country, I found a camera. When you leave a whole life behind, the photographs end up being one of the only things you get to take with you, and that stayed with me, it's why I understand exactly what I'm preserving for you.
Now I live in Pittsburgh, I'm a new mom, and I photograph the people I meet the way I always wanted my own memories to feel, warm and soft and full of love. I work best with couples who want their day to feel like them, and if you've ever thought you're not very photogenic, you've found your photographer.

After photographing weddings for 6 years, I've learned that the best ones happen when the fit is right on both sides. That's why this starts with a conversation.
I want to hear everything, how you met, the story behind the proposal, what you're most looking forward to on your wedding day. We'll get to know each other, talk through the details, and figure out whether we're the right match, in English or Spanish, whatever feels easy.
No pressure, just a conversation.

When you book me, the planning support is just getting started, and I'm genuinely happy to share everything I've learned.
Whether you need engagement session outfit recommendations, timeline advice, or honest vendor referrals, I'm here for it. Even if you have a planner, there are a hundred small details I've picked up from being on the other side of the camera, so ask me anything.

ENGAGEMENT SESSION
The Story and The Heirloom include a 2-hour engagement session, and I mean it when I say they matter. Most couples are a little stiff in front of a camera at first. That's completely normal and it has nothing to do with you.
The engagement session is where we figure out how to work together, how to move naturally, and how to find the light, so by the time your wedding day comes, you'll know exactly what to do when I point the camera at you, and that shows up in every single frame.
Sessions work great anywhere from 18 months before the wedding to just a few days before. Favorite season: fall and spring. Favorite location in Mellon Park. Couples usually wear something from J.Crew, Banana Republic, or Urban Outfitters and look great.

wedding PREP
About a month or two before your wedding, I'll check in to start talking through your timeline, special details, family photo lists, and anything else I should know about your day.
Don't wait until then if you have questions. Reach out any time during the planning process, I'd rather answer something ten times than have you stress about it once.

BIG DAY is here
It's finally here, the day you say I do and dance the night away surrounded by the people who matter most.
I'll be there from the moment you start getting ready until the last song plays, keeping the day on track and coordinating with your vendors. You won't need to worry about directing me, pointing out the important moments, or making sure things get captured. Just be present, I've got the rest.

You'll get a sneak peek within a week, and your full gallery within two to three weeks of your wedding day, a private online gallery with high-resolution images, a print release, and easy ordering for prints, albums, and keepsakes.
The relationship doesn't end when the gallery lands in your inbox. I want to hear about married life, and when you're ready to document your growing family, I'd love to be there for that too.

Most Booked
Planning something smaller? Intimate elopements start at $950 for two hours Monday through Thursday, $1,200 on weekends. Small weddings with up to 80 guests are $2,800 for five hours. Ask me and I'll send the details.

Albums
the perfect way to remember the moments that matter most
I'm a big believer that your photos aren't meant to live only on a screen. I grew up flipping through the film albums my dad printed, sitting with them for hours, and that's the feeling I want to hand back to you, something real you can hold.
Think about it, twenty-five years ago your photos might have come on a floppy disk, and you'd have no way to open them today. The formats keep changing, and the printed thing is what stays. A good album is one of the best ways to make sure your day lasts. Mine are modern: they lay perfectly flat, they look beautiful sitting out on a table, and they're made with archival materials and wrapped in a soft linen cover.
Wedding albums are available a la carte or as part of your collection.
Album pricing (linen, 20 pages):
Wedding album, 10x10: $695
Parent album, 8x8: $585
Additional 2-page spread: $25 each
Albums must be prepaid before design begins and typically take four to six weeks to complete including revisions. Albums may be ordered any time before or after the wedding day. Holiday ordering deadline is November 1st. With the exception of printing errors, all albums are non-returnable.

Inspiration
The best engagement session locations are often meaningful to you specifically, and I'm always happy to work with that. But if you want recommendations, I've shot everywhere from ski slopes to lavender fields to college campuses to apple orchards, and I have opinions about all of them.
Here are a few of my favorites in Pittsburgh.
The Point or North Shore
Out here the sky is wide open and the skyline glows gold at sunset, with the fountain and the rivers right behind you. It's at its best from late spring through fall when the evenings are warm, and golden hour is when it really sings. It suits couples who love this city and want it in the frame, a little lively and full of energy.
Frick museum
The light here is soft and dappled through the tree-lined paths, and the greenhouse glows even on a gray day. The gardens are at their lushest from late spring through fall, while the columned entrance and the greenhouse hold up beautifully all year. It suits couples who want something elegant and romantic but calm, the kind who'd rather wander hand in hand than pose.
Carnegie museum of nature
Inside the Hall of Sculpture the light is soft and even, bouncing off the white marble and the tall columns. Because it's indoors, it's beautiful in any season and a lifesaver when the weather won't cooperate. It suits couples who love an editorial, minimalist look with a little grandeur.
hartwood acres
The light is warm and natural across the gardens, terraces, and open meadow, and it turns golden in the fall. Late spring through fall is when the grounds are at their best, and weekdays are ideal since the mansion hosts weddings on weekends. It suits couples who want a romantic, storybook feel with lots of variety in one place.

WARDROBE styling make the PHOTOS
Getting dressed for your engagement session shouldn't be stressful. Here's everything that actually matters.
What to wear
Think about how you actually dress when you feel like yourselves. Date night clothes, not costumes. The goal is to look like you on a really good day, not like a version of you that exists only in photos.
A few things that photograph well together:
Coordinate, don't match. If one of you is in navy, the other doesn't need to be in navy. They might reach for cream, or a soft blush, or a warm neutral. The outfits should feel related without being identical.
Solid colors and simple patterns tend to hold up better than busy prints. Busy graphics date quickly and pull the eye away from your faces.
Layers work. An open jacket, a linen shirt, a long cardigan. They add dimension and give you something to do with your hands.
Natural fabrics photograph best. Linen, cotton, soft knits. Anything with structure tends to look more polished on camera than anything flowy and synthetic.
